I got home just in time to capture some shots of today’s thunderstorm that passed through north Jersey and NYC…bringing tornados and widespread damage in Brooklyn and Queens. There were a lot of lightning flashes and loud thunder.
This is what my window looked like during the height of the downpour. So much water, I couldn’t see out of it for at least 5-10 minutes.
After the rain had subsided somewhat, I was able to open the window and capture the rain falling.
Here’s what it looked like after the heavy rain passed through this area and things began to subside. For a while, I was unable to see the Pulaski Skyway because of the heavy rain and fog.
