PWTP Photos Exhibited in Project Greenville Art Show Honoring Moms and Dads

Hey friends!

I am pleased to share that three of my photos from my Portraits of Philadelphia series are being shown along with a host of other works of art by 11 artists in Project Greenville’s “Creative Salute to Moms and Dads” exhibit, which opened May 12th in Jersey City, NJ.

The photos are as follows:

Taken May 8, 2012 in Philadelphia, PA.
Taken May 5, 2012 in Philadelphia, PA.
Taken April 21, 2012 in Philadelphia, PA.

You can read more about the the exhibit here and here.

If you are in the NYC/North Jersey area and can swing by, please check out the show. It is open through June 16th.

I want to take a moment to publicly thank Elizabeth Deegan, Project Greenville founder (and, btw, a recent recipient of the Jersey City Women of Action citation) for having the vision and the energy to organize yet another awesome show. If you recall, she organized the Images of Jersey City exhibit a year ago (of which I was a part), which opened to great interest and press, and brought a lot of positive attention to my former neighborhood.

To all the other participating artists: Congratulations!

Last but not least, I’d like to send a special shout out to Mike and Aida Champion, along with Michelle Rodwell, who were all gracious subjects for the above photos.

Peace and blessings.
