Author and fellow NU alum Bill Campbell came to Philly on June 29th to read from his latest novel entitled “Koontown Killing Kaper.” Being the curious blogger and photographer that I am, I had to go check him out. Besides, I hadn’t seen him for nearly 20 years.
Below is some video footage I captured – check it out. Please note that I am not a videographer, so pardon the roughness of the footage. 🙂
Here are a few still images I captured that evening as well. The rest of the photo set can be found here.
If you are a hip-hop fan, and/or can genuinely appreciate well written satire, you should definitely grab a copy of his book and the soundtrack (yes, a soundtrack for a book!) and support independent authors and good music.
Also, if you’re in the Philadelphia area, you should make an effort to check him out later this month at the Global Fusion Festival, July 21st at Penn’s Landing. Also, he’ll be back at the Moonstone Arts Center in August.
Peace and blessings,
